FOOLS ON SUNDAY -- The Kid's Alright!

Punk-rock band, The Offspring, painted a pretty bleak picture of kids on the block through their song "The Kids Aren't Alright". These kids seem to have been entangled on dark side of sex, drugs, and rock-n'-roll.  Parents seem helpless, shaking their heads in wonder -- was it because they were too lenient in allowing their kids to wallow in the so-called 'devil's music'?

Marc Seligman belongs to the breed of 'cool dads for he taught his son, Evan, nursery rhymes to the tunes of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, fused with modern-alt-rockers Jack White, The Black Keys, and more...

By now, church-going mamas and papas must be praying for the salvation of the soul of Evan Seligman, and probably his dad too, for they are at the helm of  heavy-rockin band called Fools On Sunday.

Evan on drums and vocals.  Marc on bass.
So far, they walked on the road to hell, so they say, and this is how far they have gone...
  • Evan Seligman is the band's songwriter
  • He has starred in a show on MTV2 and a music video with comedian Zack Galifiniakis
  • Plays a role in an indie movie titled ‘Joshua’
  • Fools On Sunday has recorded four songs at Mitch Easter’s Fidelitorium Studio in North Carolina, the same studio where iconic musicians REM, Pavement, Suzanne Vega, and Marshall Crenshaw also recorded their tracks.

Wow, the power of prayer is indeed at work!  Evan is nowhere near the down-trodden path of the kids from The Offspring song.  Amen!

Garfan is Rock Solid

Garfan is on a roll!  Garfan brings it on --no-holds-barred!  Dale is said to be the driving force behind Garfan, yet Dale openly acknowledges each and everyone's contribution.  Garfan's music may be grinding and slicing with head-bangin' guitar riffs and heart-pounding drums, but the emotions truly cut deep.  Yes, Garfan can pull off a lyrical, emotional, and hard rocking number all rolled into one.

Take a sample of their most recent album "Family Affair" and experience how they tackle classic to modern rock and everything in between.

HONEY THICK -- In Thick of Rock

Rock band Honey Thick is sticking to what they do best – rocking hard.  Their new EP “Spadamn” is a testament to their intensity and uncompromising sound.  Funk, rock, metal -- are the most predominant elements of rock that make them sound so tight. Their aggression is balanced off by smooth and melodic well-crafted tunes.  Their chaotic intensity comes in full circle as they throw in driving guitars riffs, slick baselines, and thunderous percussions.
Have a tasty sample of their music through their EP "Spadamn", available at iTunes distributed through JMD Records and INgrooves (a partner of Universal Music Group.)
Ain't it sweet and sticky?

Classic Rockin' from Ratcliff Bailey

Ratcliff Bailey's music is the type of song you'd love to hear when you're in high spirits.  Yes, they rock their hearts out and just let the good times roll!  This duo are jacks of almost all musical trades – producers, song writers, publishers, performers, recording artists. They've got a treasure trove of songs -- 240 song collaborations as of last count! Thus, it's no surprise that they have a Viking Radio Artist of the Year Award, and their songs have been spinning on numerous internet radio sites and on over 70 stations in the US, the UK, France, Spain, Norway, Australia, Canada, and Argentina.

They're currently busy with the release of their new album "Deuce", containing 13 tracks that showcase their musical style of blues, rock, folk, soul -- all rolled into one rockin' album.  Now ain't that groovy!

The MICK DONOVAN BAND -- Wanting Nothing But...

In this day and age of plastic pop songs that amass gazillions of youtube views,  there are still genuine artists who refuse to compromise and would rather stand true, inspite of getting to wear the badge A/C or being filed under 'adult contemporary'.

Yeah, music has its way of segregating the men from the boys; and The Mick Donovan Band definitely know which side they're on.  In-your-face adult contemporary rock music is what they deliver.  Their self-titled album features the lead single "The Truth", best highlights their rock music sensibilities.

The Mick Donovan Band’s self-titled album is available at iTunes distributed through JMD Records and INgrooves (a partner of Universal Music Group.)

JET SET GO's "Barcelona" Music Video

Goin' on a roadtrip?  Better add this to your playlist!  Jet Set Go's "Barcelona" is a perk-me-up song to keep your spirits revved-up for those long drives.  Good news is, Jet Set Go has finally released the music video for "Barcelona".

Jet Set Go started creating a buzz sometime last year among indie music circles with their break out single “Barcelona”. As a result, the band decided that it was high time to release a music video, and started shooting under the direction of Frank Rice, Jr. and video producers Andrew Sandler and Sam Sabawi. The hit single “Barcelona” is now hitting TV screens, YouTube, and other video channels all over the world wide web.

Jet Set Go is comprised of five accomplished musicians, namely, Craig Broombraugh on guitar and vocals; Oliver Tan on keyboards/synthesizers and vocals; Javan Mershad as chief songwriter on lead vocals and guitar; Danny Quesada on drums; and Peter Freeman on bass.

All five members performed on their music video debut, which was shot along a dessert highway, under the heat of California’s blazing sun. The music video gives a picture of a road trip all gone wrong , but the song “Barcelona” is the perfect perk-up soundtrack that could turn a dreary long drive into a free- wheeling adventure ride.
