SHAUN DEGRAFF -- Living the Dream

Picture this.  You're a pianist-musician/artist/songwriter.  Then a visit to your doctor drops the bomb on your fate that you'll never be able to play piano again.  Then the biggest fan of your life -- your Mom, passes away.

There are no words for this pain and loss.

Shaun Degraff was lost...Til one day, a dream woke him up from what can be said as his nightmarish-state.  He sprung back to life -- pounded on the ivory keys again, and lived the dream of performing with one of his childhood heroes, Stevie Wonder.  It's true -- in 2009, he shared the live stage with Stevie.  And as if these were not enough, Shaun toured all over the world performing, collecting praises and awards for his works and performed as well with Regina Spektor, The Eels, Chaka Khan.

Shaun De Graff describes his music as:

‘Avant-pop with soaring dreamy melodies, experimental production and a danceable beat’.

His album "Grey Area" takes you to beautiful plane where slumber meets dreams, and life meets re-birth, then  inspiration meets passion.. Ethereal yet you could still feel your feet touching the ground.  The electronica sound takes you on a trip, but  the b-boy beats will keep you on the floor.

Shaun De Graff’s sublime album ‘Grey Area’ is available at iTunes, distributed by JMD Records and INgrooves (a partner of Universal Music Group.)

TAKAO Rises from Land of The Rising Sun to the City of Angels

Takao's musical pursuits started at the age of 15 in Kumamoto, Japan, being part of a band and honing his craft through contests and music festivals.  His move to Tokyo at age 18, then jetting  to Los Angeles, California USA in 2009, shows that Takao is indeed determined and his music is poised to take on the pop world.  "Last Night", the lead single off his debut EP, sizzles with a catchy dance beat.  Definitely, this is clubbing material!

Takao’s music is available at iTunes, distributed by JMD Records and INgrooves (a partner of Universal Music Group.)

JET SET GO's "Barcelona" Music Video

Goin' on a roadtrip?  Better add this to your playlist!  Jet Set Go's "Barcelona" is a perk-me-up song to keep your spirits revved-up for those long drives.  Good news is, Jet Set Go has finally released the music video for "Barcelona".

Jet Set Go started creating a buzz sometime last year among indie music circles with their break out single “Barcelona”. As a result, the band decided that it was high time to release a music video, and started shooting under the direction of Frank Rice, Jr. and video producers Andrew Sandler and Sam Sabawi. The hit single “Barcelona” is now hitting TV screens, YouTube, and other video channels all over the world wide web.

Jet Set Go is comprised of five accomplished musicians, namely, Craig Broombraugh on guitar and vocals; Oliver Tan on keyboards/synthesizers and vocals; Javan Mershad as chief songwriter on lead vocals and guitar; Danny Quesada on drums; and Peter Freeman on bass.

All five members performed on their music video debut, which was shot along a dessert highway, under the heat of California’s blazing sun. The music video gives a picture of a road trip all gone wrong , but the song “Barcelona” is the perfect perk-up soundtrack that could turn a dreary long drive into a free- wheeling adventure ride.
